Bel Ami Red Carpet Info

Wir hatten ja schon von Rob's Terminplan zur Bel Ami Premiere hier in Berlin berichtet. Bisher waren uns nur die Zeiten für den Photocall und die Pressekonferenz bekannt (Guckst du HIER) Sobald die eigentliche Premiere zur Sprache kam habe ich immer nur den wagen Begriff  'am Abend' benutzt um meine Unwissenheit zu überspielen, denn ich hatte natürlich KEINE Ahnung. Bis jetzt! Denn der rote Teppich beginnt laut RPL um 18:45 und geht bis ca 19:30...

Vorhin hab ich im Radio gehört das auch Meryl Streep, Jake Gyllenhaal, Keanu Reeves und Angelian Jolie zur Berlinale erwartet werden! WOWI! Aber einen Flick Flack mache ich erst, wenn Shah Rukh Khan kommt. Jedenfalls habe ich vorhin irgendwo gelesen das vor Rob schon einmal jemand anderes den Georges Duroy in einer Verfilmung des Romans dargestellt hat! Und zwar..Moment mal kurz...

Johannes Heesters! Das hab ich nicht gewusst!

Die Berlinale startet übrigens heute und dauert an bis zum 19.Februar! Die Bel Ami Premiere findet am 17.Februar statt. Ich fänd's ja toll wenn Rob zur Premiere in dem selben Aufzug erscheint wie im Film! ich werd ihn mal anrufen und fragen ob sich da was machen lässt ;)

Jetzt ist aber auch gut! Wenn das so weitergeht kenne ich schon den kompletten Film, wenn ich Samstag im Kino sitze!

Da hätten wir einmal den genervten, Blumen kaufenden und dabei ziemlich säuerlich dreinschauenden Rob...

Und Rob zu Tisch mit u.a Uma Thruman und Christina Ricci...

Hilfe! Immer wenn ich, egal in welchem Film Christina Ricci sehe, dann rechne ich andauernd damit das doch bald mal entweder Johnny Depp, James McAvoy oder beide plötzlich hinter ihr auftauchen! Sleepy Hollow und Penelope, zwei meiner Lieblingsfilme ;)

Vampire Diaries Darsteller Joeph Morgan über Rob

Huiuiuiui das ist KLAUS! Klaus aus The Vampire Diaries und der ist HEIß! Nicht nur weil er aussieht wie er aussieht sondern weil er spricht wie er spricht, mit diesem Akzent! Harrr! ;O Das musste an dieser Stelle mal gesagt werden. Jedenfalls sprach er in einem Interview mit OMG auch über den Druck der auf einem lastet, wenn man z.b in Rob' Position ist und das er selbst nicht möchte das sein eigenes Leben zu einer Art Soap Opera wird, in der alle Welt sich fragt wen er gerade datet. Auf die Frage ob er sich Twilight angesehen hätte um sich auf seine Rolle in The Vampire Diaries vorzubereiten antwortet er, dass er sich den ersten Teil angesehen hat, seine Rolle aber nicht so wie Rob spielen wollte. Außerdem gäbe es viele Parallelen zwischen Twilight und The Vampire Diaries, so das es besser für ihn war sich die Filme nicht anzusehen. Er denkt aber das Rob einen guten Job gemacht hat.

Joseph is the latest addition to the series playing Klaus and spoke exclusively to omg! about how a franchise such as Twilight would affect the success of its male lead:

"Provided he didn't mess it all up, Robert was guaranteed a fan base thanks to Twilight," Joseph told us.

"His character is iconic and there's a huge following of the books but there's a tremendous amount of pressure that comes with that."

The gravitas of playing a heartthrob is something the 30-year-old actor can relate to as he explained how much passion fans have for the parts he and RPattz play.

"People have their own very distinctive ideas of how a character should be portrayed especially when you're playing a vampire."

But this is something Robert does flawlessly, as Joseph adds it's not just Edward Cullen who turned him into a superstar.

"Having the talent helped, Robert is quite charming and humble in the press during interviews which helps.

"I do worry thought that after Vampire Diaries finishes how many fans will come with me to watch other projects that I do and if it's just the vampire phenomenon that made us [me and Robert] famous. It's harder for Robert though."

Judging by Joseph's looks, we don't think it's just talent or the acting gig he's got that draws the fans in but it's clearly something he worries about.

"It's too early to say if I think I've been typecast, but I've been forced to take on different roles but I'm not going to lie I have done jobs just to pay the rent."

Naturally we had to ask if he'd like to reach the dizzy Hollywood heights that Robert has to which he replied rather diplomatically…

"That guy is more famous than anyone at the moment, of course I'd like to have Robert Pattinson's career but I don't like the whole celebrity aspect of it.

"I'm not interested in having a photo shoot in a magazine it allows people to buy into you too much. I'm not against talking about my personal life but I don't want it to be a soap opera.

"I'm not saying Robert's is, but he can't escape it - like the gossip around who is he dating, I don't want all that."

But that's what we REALLY need to know! Our final question to the actor was if he watched Twilight in preparation for his role in Vampire Diaries…

"I watched the first one but didn't want to play it the same as Robert.

"I thought he was good, there are so many parallels drawn between Twilight and Vampire Diaries thatit was better for me not to watch it."
