Rupert Sanders (director) and the script convinced you to accept the project? 

Definitely, Rupert and the script were transcendental. Charlize was also a solid pillar in accepting this project. Her name is well known above my own. So when I heard she was playing Queen, I decided that I wanted to be in this movie. One can read something fanstastic, but it can fall apart if it doesnt have other elements to support it. For me, knowing that Charlize was a part of it, meant I could be confident in this project.

Rupert was the one who brought darkness into the film? 

Yes, and its because these characters live in an incredibly dangerous world. The enviroment and the landscape are a character in their own. The use of the images( of the landspace) is always evocative. He(Rupert) has the capacityto see things in a very unqui way.

How was it working with Chris Hemsworth? 

Chris is a very charming guy. He is big and he was in the same working pattern to mine, because we didnt have much rehearsal time. We jumped right into the action of the movie and right when we stared working I said “Oh this is going to be easy!” He is a good actor. Chris is honest and you can really talk to him. The major part of the material (script) had potential, but once in a while I would play with him a little, changing things, improvising.

It’s been a big 24 hours for Robert Pattinson.

Gossip Cop has confirmed that the Twilight star has joined The Rover, a film that follows one man’s pursuit through the Australian Outback of the men who stole his car.

His rep confirms the casting to Gossip Cop.

Pattinson will play a character named Reynolds in director David Michod’s movie, which is set in the near future.

On the Road wird beim Cannes Film Festival am 23. Mai seine Premiere feiern.

Cosmopolis soll höchstwahrscheinlich am 25. Mai Premiere feiern.

Kinology will complete already quite substantial sales for Canadian-French co-production Cosmopolis by David Cronenberg, a film to be officially screened in the festival’s competition on Friday, May 25.

Die Quelle ist eigentlich recht glaubhaft, es könnte aber eventuell auch sein, dass der Termin mit dem normalen Kinostart in Frankreich verwechselt wird. Der offizielle Zeitplan soll aber am 10.Mai veröffentlicht werden-spätestens dann wissen wir es genau.

Neue Rolle für Rob!

Und wenn ihr jetzt hier lest für welchen Film oder zumindest welche Art Film wird auch klar, warum Rob sein prachtvolles Haar für einen gewissen Zeitraum loswerden musste.

Rob wird in dem Film "Mission: Blacklist", einem Psycho-Thriller mitspielen. In dem Film geht es um die Geschichte von Seargant Eric Maddox, der die Suche nach Saddam Hussein im Dezember 2003 anführte. Der hat nämlich über seine Tage im Iraq ein Buch geschrieben.
Die Regie übernimmt Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire und das Drehbuch wird von Erik Jendresen geschrieben.
Die Rechte am Film werden (wie passend) beim Cannes Film Festival verkauft.

Und laut einem neuen Interview (via source) von Rob mit PremiereFr, in dem er auch über "Mission: Blacklist" spricht, erfahren wir, dass die Dreharbeiten zum Film diesen Herbst beginnen sollen. Und die Locationsuche im Iraq steht auch bald an...

Erik Jendresen, screenwriter for Band of Brothers is in charge of the adaptation, with a shooting that should be starting in the fall.

LOS ANGELES, CA – May 2, 2012 – Robert Pattinson has come on board to star in the upcomingfilm “Mission: Blacklist” with Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire committed to direct. The screenplay was adapted by “Band of Brothers” writer and producer Erik Jendresen from the Harper Collins novel Mission: Black List #1 written by military interrogator Eric Maddox with Davin Seay. Ross M. Dinerstein, Managing Partner of Preferred Content, is producing alongside Jendresen and Kevin Waller.

Embankment Films, the international sales and distribution company recently launched by international sales veterans Tim Haslam and Hugo Grumbar will begin selling the film at the upcoming Cannes Film Market.

”Mission: Blacklist” is a psychological thriller that details the true, inside story of the search for Saddam Hussein and the interrogator, Eric Maddox, who spearheaded his capture.

“This movie is a gripping, edge of your seat thriller,” says Dinerstein. “I have been inspired by Robert and Jean-Stéphane’s dedication to tell this story in the most authentic way possible, and I’m thrilled to add Hugo and Tim to our team.”
