Incarceron Drehbuch in Arbeit!

Laut MTV wird das Jahr 2011 DAS Jahr der Buch Verfilmungen, u.a The Hunger Games, Mortal Instruments (Chroniken der Unterwelt) und Taylors kommendes Filmprojekt Incarceron stehen auf der Liste! Im Interview mit MTV verriet er jetzt, dass das Projekt bereits in Entwicklung ist...

Next year is shaping up to be the year of the YA novel film adaptation (trust us), and while “The Hunger Games,” “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” and “The Mortal Instruments” have been making headlines oflate, things have been relatively quiet regarding production on Taylor Lautner’s “Incarceron.”


Last we heard, several young ladies were in contention for the female lead, including “Gossip Girl”‘s BlakeLively and “Harry Potter”‘s Emma Watson. “The Hunger Games”‘ Jennifer Lawrence was also a rumoredfront-runner for the role, though she dismissed that speculation while walking the Oscars red carpet.


So, of course, when we sat down with Taylor during our recent “MTV First,” we tried to get as muchdish as we could from the star. Which we’ll admit, wasn’t much (though did sound promising!). “Incarceron”


“It’s in development,” Taylor said. “You know, the script’s being worked on right now, and we’ll see. I don’t know what’s going to happen next. I’m kind of just in a waiting period, focusing on ‘Breaking Dawn’ andand after that we’ll see. Everything’s being worked on right now.” ‘Abduction’


When asked what it was about the project that drew him to it, Taylor said very definitively that it was thestory first and foremost that got him interested in taking the role.


“I love the book. It’s a crazy, cool, dark world, and the character is awesome. I think it’s an awesome story, and I think just seeing that book come to life could be pretty awesome,” he explained.
